I personally have a weird relationship with tarot. My parents were obsessed with them and always thought they showed us our destined future, but I never enjoyed how tarot or my parents were so sure of what the cards fated for me.
Therefore, I wanted to make my version of abstract, open-ended, dynamic tarot cards. When seen under regular light, they are already abstract with their titles blurred out with vertical lines, and the art itself being just black lines and circles. When it's shined with a UV light, it reveals the title but also reveals a new artwork that either emphasizes or opposes the card's nature.
The backs also have numbers written from 1-10 in Korean, and because I 3D printed detachable frames, the backs can be switched around randomly creating consistent arbitrary cards and encouraging open-endedness.
